The SLIDE is a rare kind of pergola: here the louvres both rotate from 0 to 135°and slide away entirely, clearing the opening. Adjustable shade by day, stars overhead in the evening, a watertight roof in the rain. The electric drive is completely concealed in the crown — no motors or cables in sight.
A single module covers up to 28 m²: width up to 7 m, projection up to 4 m, and the projection is made to the millimetre for your opening. The extruded aluminium frame, with reinforced chambers and ribs, takes from 100 to 300 kg of snow per m² depending on the specification; in strong gusts the automation closes the roof by itself.
Round gutters are integrated into the structure as standard and the water is carried away inside the profiles — not a drop at the joints. Control is by Somfy remote or smartphone via the Somfy IO Wi-Fi hub, plus wind, rain and sun sensors. Comfort is built up with options: LED lighting 3000–6500K, heaters of 1500–4000 W with LOW GLARE, 50 W audio, 230 V and USB sockets, and WIN SCREEN, WIN GLASS and WIN PANELS for the sides.
