An ordinary screen will not cope with a wide terrace door or a panoramic portal — what you need here is a pleated screen. The concertina-folded mesh runs along its channels remarkably smoothly, stops in any position and disappears completely into the side profile when the opening is clear. Low threshold does not get in your way — a pushchair or a robot vacuum rolls straight over it.
