SKO takes a different path: oval box with its clean geometry it looks like a considered element on the facade, so wall mounting here is not a compromise but the preferred option. The system is of the adaptation type — it is not part of the window, needs no preparation of the opening and can be fitted to a finished house at any time, which makes it a favourite of the renovation market.
The difference between the versions lies in the material of the box. SKO is made of extruded aluminium: maximum rigidity and stable geometry, the choice for large windows and windswept facades. SKO-P — a box made of high-quality sheet with a special coating in PU/PA, which resists abrasion and weather: lighter and more economical while keeping the same oval silhouette. The curtain in both cases is made of foam-filled aluminium, extruded or plastic profiles.
A signature addition is the Moskito: a mosquito net in its own mechanism that works separately from the shutter. With the curtain raised and the net lowered the room gets light and air but no mosquitoes; at night the curtain comes down too. The shutter is operated manually or by motor, right up to your smartphone; the colours cover the whole Aluprof palette, including woodgrain finishes.
