Photograph the window, mark the four corners of the glass — then browse our fabrics. The fabric is laid onto the photo in perspective, with the tube or cassette above and the bottom bar below, and its translucency is taken from the technical data sheet: a blackout covers solidly, a screen lets the light through. The photo stays on your device — it is never sent to a server.
Photograph the window from where you usually look at it — roughly square on and completely in frame. In daylight under normal light, so the fabric in the visualiser comes closer to the truth. A photo already on your phone will do too.
Drag the points to the corners of the glass — to the inner edges of the beading if you are planning blinds on the sash, or to the edges of the opening if they go on the wall. The fabric will sit exactly within that quadrilateral, even if the photo was taken from an angle.
Filter by type, colour or price group, choose a roller system or a cassette with a headbox colour, and move the “lowered” slider. You can download the image and send it to us with your enquiry — then we will know straight away what you mean.
It shows: the character of the fabric — its density, its texture, how solid or airy it is; how the shade you choose works with the frame, the walls and the furniture in your own room; how much light will be left with the fabric lowered; and how a cassette above looks compared with an open tube.
It does not show: the exact colour — a screen is a screen, and the sample photograph was taken under its own lighting. That is why our fitter brings the real samples to the survey, and the colour decision is made there and then, at your window. Nor does it show the small hardware: brackets, the chain, the type of guides — in a visualiser the fabric and the fit of the curtain matter more.
The fabrics in the visualiser are the same as in the calculator: roller blinds and cassette blinds are priced from the same collection and the same price group. Once you have chosen a fabric here, move on to the quote and enter your sizes.
Once the fabric and the system are settled, all that remains is the measurements. Our survey is professional: the fitter arrives with samples and cassette catalogues, checks the type of window, the depth of the beading, the handles and the reveals, and works out the size of the product himself — an error in the sizes of a roller blind costs more than the visit.
